NEW TLKR T3 & T5 from Motorola... - Oct 2007

Airsys are now stocking Motorola's latest editions to their PMR446 radio range - the new TLKR T3 & TLKR T5.

The TLKR T3 has been designed with trendy young people in mind and offers a modern, easy to use, stylish walkie talkie for sharing fun experiences. If you’re exploring a new city or getting lost in the music at a festival, the T3 can make sure you’re always in touch with your friends. It offers up to approximately 20 hours of battery life - enough to keep you going even at the longest gig - and a range of useful features including channel scan, channel monitor and battery save. The TLKR T3 won’t disappoint in injecting some fun into your daily life.

The TLKR T5 is perfect for design conscious young adults with an active lifestyle. Airsys announces formal Distribution agreement with ZETRON - May 2007

Andy Wilson announced today that the contract has been signed, and that Airsys is now the official distributor to the trade for Zetron.

"We are delighted to be opening this segment of the market up to the wider dealer channel. With the price of Two Way Radio coming down mostly due to cheap, low quality entrants to the market, Airsys is pursuing a policy of assisting the professional dealerships we serve to upgrade customers to a more systems based comms facility. Zetron was ultimately the only partner we felt we could rely on to provide the standard of product and technical support to facilitate this"

Zetron equipment will be available to purchase from Airsys from mid June 2007. Ask your account manager for details.

Airsys announces formal Distribution agreement with PELTOR - May 2007

In an effort to open up new revenue streams to Two Way Radio dealers, Airsys has formally entered into an agreement with Peltor to distribute and aggressively grow business in the Communications Market. Peltor is a world leader in the field of communication equipment and head and face protectors, with over 50 years of developing and manufacturing hearing protectors.

Paul Davies, UK Area Manager, said "Airsys are the leading Distributor of Two Way Radio products in the UK, and are the clear choice for us to grow in the Ear Protection market with Comms users due to the exposure they can give us to Professional Comms Dealers"

Andy Wilson, Sales Director at Airsys, said "We are always looking for new revenue streams for the dealer channel, and Peltor ear protection was the next logical step for us to add into the portfolio. With new legislation introduced only a few months ago, there are huge opportunities for add on sales"

Q1 NEWSLETTER 2007:

Introduction

Hello again!  Welcome to the Q1 2007 newsletter from Airsys.  The industry seems to be moving at an extra rapid pace these days, far more exciting and challenging than I have experienced in my modest five years in the business.  The first quarter of 2007 has certainly fitted into the ‘fast paced’ and ‘challenging’ category!

ISO9001 Award maintained for 2007

And now, to blow the Airsys trumpet!  Shona Barnett, Commercial Operations Manager, confirmed this week that we have successfully maintained our IS09001 award for 2007.  This accolade is very important to us, as we are so proud of the service we provide to our customers.  Watch this space for our 2007 Dealer Survey where you can have your say on how we have been performing. 

Peltor/Noise Legislation

There has been an amazing response to our campaign to increase awareness of Peltor Ear Protection.  Clearly, end users have been made aware that they need to comply with the recent change in legislation for noise tolerance in the work place and are responding to this by opening their wallets and spending cash with you!

I am sure that there are still many companies who are still not compliant for us to sell into, and look forward to helping you to do this throughout the year – don’t forget, we can offer an extremely competitive price on a Peltor Optime Alert System, which gauges sound volumes in the work place to gauge if protection is required. 

Coming soon… MOTOTRBO Range of Digital Radio!

Coming up in the next month or so, Motorola are expected to launch their MOTOTRBO range of digital radio. Airsys will be very much involved in this process, and will ensure that the channel is kept up to date and informed on progress. The launch comes on the back of the success of the DTR products (pictured right), which Airsys and Motorola presented to Dealers in mid 2006.

ATEX Submersibles from Vertex Standard!

Vertex Standard has announced an ATEX version of their VX-820 series of portables.  The submersible product, which has been a big hit with dealers since it’s launch in January, is scheduled for production in June 2007. 

foretrack Vehicle Tracking & Fleet Management Solution

For all of our Foretrack Dealers out there – Thank You!! Our run rate on the Foretrack product has continued it’s considerable growth into 2007, with a wide range of dealers bringing in significant contract wins from Councils to Delivery vans. We appear to have progressed from connecting units to Dealers’ existing customers to finding and winning new business – an important step indeed!

Kenwood/Airsys Ambassador Club

Be on the look out for the next Kenwood Airsys Ambassador Club meeting, coming to a cheap hotel not necessarily near you soon!  We have some interesting developments to share with Ambassador Club dealers.
