Congratulations Paula, and welcome to the world little Nicola.
Nicola’s sales training on PMR equipment is scheduled to start in June 2010. Andy Wilson, Sales Director, said “Obviously, from a sales perspective we have high hopes for little Nicola. By the time she is old enough to drive we are expecting the next generation of Digital equipment to be on the market, so the timing could be perfect for her to get out on the road and raise awareness in the Dealer Channel.”

“The Airsys new products sales team are viewing the last quarter of 2009 and first quarter of 2010 almost as a relaunch of the Foretrack tracking product, which we believe is the best on the market for mapping and hardware alike. I realise that many Airsys customers have end users who would be ideally placed to make use of the various types of tracking device we now offer, and we want to support our customers to turn this potential into bottom line profits as soon as possible!!”
Andrew Wilson, Sales Director.

MOTOTRBO application SafeDispatch uses the GPS and data functionality already embedded in MOTOTRBO radios providing a tool that allows businesses to effectively manage and monitor their mobile assets.
SafeDispatch Modules include:
The SafeDispatch application and module add-ons are an out-of-box solution, ready to ship to your customer. SafeDispatch is entirely scalable to your customers needs and can also integrate imported maps provided by the customer, but it doesn’t stop there. SafeDispatch can be customised to fit any additional requirements your customers have so just tell Airsys what you need.
SafeDispatch is available in the UK Dealer Channel exclusively through Airsys. SafeMobile have chosen to exclusively sell their MOTOTRBO application through Airsys as the UK’s leading two-way radio distributor, meaning that Airsys can provide the UK Dealer channel with credit accounts, prices in £ sterling, next- delivery and most importantly technical support in the UK, meaning support when you need it.
The launch of MOTOTRBO digital radios has created a significant turn-around in the market, particularly in the perceived value of communication equipment. Over the last number of years analogue radios have been getting cheaper but with less functionality. The launch of MOTOTRBO with the recognised DMR standard, which uses TDMA technology, has completely changed that. Radio is no longer just a tool for simply transmitting voice communication; it is now a complete business end-to-end solution for voice and data that can be tailored to an individual’s business needs by the addition of a Software Application. Airsys see these software applications as the perfect value-added functionality, ideal for transforming a business’ communication requirements and therefore migrating their radio needs to digital.
MOTOTRBO now accounts for 40% of all Motorola radio sales in the UK and Ireland. By selling MOTOTRBO with the SafeDispatch application along with your own value-added services, Dealers can earn the same gross margin (contribution) they would achieve from selling 6 x the value of analogue CP040 radios. As salaries rise and businesses become more cost-conscious, it is vital we use our labour resources as effectively as possible, so why waste time and money selling 6 analogue boxes when you can sell 1 digital solution for the same return. By selling the integrated services and applications that truly get the best from MOTOTRBO your business can significantly increase its revenue with no extra work or resource required.

Andy Wilson announced today that the contract has been signed, and that Airsys is now the official distributor to the trade for Zetron. “We are delighted to be opening this segment of the market up to the wider dealer channel. With the price of Two Way Radio coming down mostly due to cheap, low quality entrants to the market, Airsys is pursuing a policy of assisting the professional dealerships we serve to upgrade customers to a more systems based comms facility. Zetron was ultimately the only partner we felt we could rely on to provide the standard of product and technical support to facilitate this”.
Zetron equipment will be available to purchase from Airsys from mid June 2007. Ask your account manager for details.
