At Airsys, we take pride in the people whose dedication and expertise shape the service we deliver every day.
Today, we invite you to step behind the scenes and follow the remarkable journey of Dean, our New Technology Adoption and Growth Manager.
From his first days in the warehouse back in 2014 to becoming one of our most trusted technical experts, Dean’s story is one of growth, curiosity, and commitment to helping partners succeed. Join us as we explore how Dean’s hands-on experience, deep knowledge, and passion for innovation continue to drive value for customers and the wider Airsys community.
Starting in July 2014 as a warehouse operative I learnt the basis of working for a distribution company. After 9 months with Airsys an opportunity arose which has defined my professional career to this day. Being allowed to grow personally and professionally
Moving into the Technical Service team as a support team member and zero knowledge of Two-Way radio and its delicate intricacies I spent the subsequent 10 years learning on the job absorbing as much knowledge as I could by working closely with our partners resolving a wide verity of issues and overcoming hurdles en route.
Developing professional relationships with both partners and vendors then lead onto a change in my role at Airsys where for the last 18 months I now work with new and emerging technologies everything from BWC, Smart Sensors, PoC solutions and new products as a whole. Using my experience and knowledge from the proceeding 9 years to piece together solutions, training and assistance to our partner channel.
The role is very much a technical pre-sales role. I very much enjoy providing options and solutions to partners requirements while keeping my hands dirty and remaining on the coal face. Be that in our innovation centre or travelling to partners up and down the country or across the water to Europe and potentially further a field in the future.
Heading into my 12th year there are lots of challenges ahead all of which I welcome and look forward to.
