Dean's Airsys Journey
From Warehouse to Business Development: My Journey at Airsys
I joined Airsys in July 2014 as a Warehouse Operative. Early on, I was trained on the systems and processes and earned my counterbalance forklift certification. After about nine months, a technical role became available. Wanting to explore something new, I expressed my interest to management—and they gave me a chance with a trial in the technical team.
Building a Career Across Departments
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to grow across multiple roles. I moved from the Warehouse to Technical Support, then on to become a Technical and Programming Engineer, and later added Facilities Coordinator responsibilities. Today, I’m proud to serve as the Business Development Manager for New Technologies (MSI). It’s been a rewarding and dynamic journey.
Support That Makes a Difference
One of the things I’ve appreciated most at Airsys is the support I’ve received along the way. From team members who’ve helped me build my technical knowledge, to manufacturer-led training programs, and learning through hands-on experience—I’ve always felt encouraged and backed every step of the way.
Looking Ahead
Right now, I’m thriving in my current role, but what excites me most is that Airsys never stands still. As the business evolves, so do the opportunities for learning and progression. After 11 incredible years, I’m still as motivated as ever, and I look forward to what the future holds. I’m always ready for the next challenge.

Cat’s Journey at Airsys
From Customer Service to Group People Manager
It all began
I started my journey with Airsys as a Customer Service Advisor. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to grow within the company, taking on roles such as Customer Service Team Leader, Customer Service Manager, Operations Support Manager, and People and Facilities Manager. Today, I’m proud to serve as the Group People Manager.
Why I Embraced Change
I’ve always been someone who thrives on new challenges and continuous learning. After gaining solid experience in customer service, I felt it was time to broaden my horizons and explore other areas of the business. When new opportunities opened up, I took the leap—and it made all the difference.
How I Got Here
Stepping into management was a big transition. It came with challenges, but also incredible growth. One turning point was when a manager saw my potential in HR and encouraged me to explore that path. Their support and belief in me helped steer my career in a direction I might not have considered otherwise—and I’ve never looked back.
Support That Made It Possible
Throughout my time at Airsys, I’ve had the benefit of exceptional support—through formal training, mentorship, and the encouragement of amazing colleagues and leaders. No matter the role, I’ve always felt empowered with the tools and guidance I needed to succeed.
Right now, I’m exactly where I want to be. I love the challenges of my current role and appreciate the work-life balance I’ve found, especially after returning from maternity leave. While I’m not actively seeking my next move, I’m always open to growth and new opportunities when the time is right.

Sally’s Journey at Airsys
Building Success Through Adaptability and Growth
My journey with Airsys began as a Customer Service Manager. From there, I stepped into the role of Operations Manager, and today, I’m proud to be a Prince2-certified Project Manager. Each role has been a stepping stone, building on the skills and experience I gained in the one before.
Why I Chose to Evolve
I’ve always been curious about how different parts of the business work. Starting in customer service gave me a strong foundation, but I wanted to keep learning and contributing in new ways. Moving into operations, and eventually project management, allowed me to do just that—take on new challenges and have a broader impact across the business.
Progressing Into Project Management
The path wasn’t always smooth—especially after taking two years off for maternity leave. But when I returned, I threw myself into a series of key projects, from launching Airsys Europe to helping develop our e-commerce platform. These projects sharpened my skills, boosted my confidence, and made the transition into operations and project management feel like a natural next step.
Support Along the Way
While there wasn’t a formal training program, I was fortunate to have strong mentorship—particularly from our former Managing Director, who provided invaluable guidance during my transitions. Most of my growth came from getting hands-on, learning by doing, and being trusted to lead real, meaningful projects.
Looking Ahead
I definitely see more room to grow. I believe in embracing change—it brings opportunity, learning, and energy. Whether it’s deepening my expertise or exploring a completely new direction, I’m open to wherever the business needs me most. I’m excited for what’s next and proud to continue evolving with Airsys.
