The CXL 2-3LW/… is a 3 dBd, vertically polarized, omnidirectional base station and marine antenna available in five models, covering the VHF band. It features the durable "LW" mast mount, a lightweight, multipurpose, epoxy-coated aluminum bracket that resists corrosion, along with stainless steel U-bolts and fittings. Designed for versatility, it can be mounted on vertical or horizontal mast tubes with an outer diameter of 16 to 54 mm, and the cable can be routed either externally or internally along the mast. The antenna offers a large bandwidth in terms of both VSWR and gain, with precisely phased radiating elements that maximize horizontal-plane gain while minimizing sidelobes. Enclosed in a high-quality conical fiberglass tube with low wind load, the antenna ensures reliable performance even in harsh, corrosive environments.
