The CXL 2-1LW/… is a versatile, omnidirectional, 0 dBd rod-type base station and marine antenna designed for the 160 MHz band, available in three models with 10 MHz overlap to suit various applications. Its broad-banded ½ λ dipole antenna element is enclosed in a high-quality conical fiberglass tube with low wind-load, ensuring reliable performance even in corrosive environments. The antenna is equipped with a sturdy “LW” mast mount, a lightweight, epoxy-coated aluminum bracket resistant to corrosion, along with stainless steel U-bolts and fittings. It can be installed on vertical or horizontal mast tubes with an outer diameter of 16 to 54 mm, with the option to route the cable either externally or internally. Designed for optimal bandwidth in terms of both VSWR and gain, the antenna is also DC-grounded to minimize noise from atmospheric discharges, resulting in a DC-short across the coaxial cable. With its vibration-proof, lightweight, slim-line, and corrosion-resistant construction, this modern antenna is ideal for demanding environments.
