The DPF 2/6 is a 6-cavity duplex filter designed for duplex radiotelephones. It is available in two versions: the low-band DPF 2/6 L, tunable within 138–156 MHz, and the high-band DPF 2/6 H, tunable within 152–175 MHz. Each version is further divided into three submodels, each optimized for specific duplex spacing. Primarily intended for systems where the Tx and Rx operate on single frequencies, the filter can also support multiple channels within a certain port bandwidth, albeit with slightly reduced performance. In such cases, factory tuning is recommended. The compact design is achieved through the use of high-Q, temperature-compensated helical resonators. Constructed with a durable extruded aluminum housing, a passivated steel chassis, and Teflon-insulated rigid coaxial cables and connectors, the filter is coated with black vinyl for corrosion resistance.
