The MPX 70/6 is a miniaturized six-resonator duplex filter designed for duplex radiotelephones, offering a space-saving, high-performance solution. Available in two versions, the low band version (MPX 70/6 L) is tunable within the 406–440 MHz range, and the high band version (MPX 70/6 H) is tunable within the 430–470 MHz range. Each version is offered in four different configurations based on the required duplex spacing. While primarily intended for single-frequency Tx and Rx operation, these filters can also be used for multi-channel applications within a specified bandwidth, with factory tuning recommended for such use. The miniaturization of the filter is achieved through the use of high-Q, temperature-compensated helical resonators. The housing is made from extruded aluminum, the chassis is constructed from steel, and Teflon insulation is used in the coaxial cables and connectors. To prevent corrosion, the MPX 70/6 is coated with black vinyl.
