The MPX 2/6 is a compact, 6-resonator miniaturized duplex filter designed for duplex transceivers, offering a space-saving yet high-performance solution. Model MPX 2/6 L is tunable within the 138–156 MHz range, while model MPX 2/6 H covers 152–175 MHz, both supporting duplex spacing between 4 and 15 MHz. Primarily intended for equipment where Tx and Rx operate on single frequencies, the filter can also be used for multi-channel operation within a specific port bandwidth, albeit with slightly reduced performance, for which factory tuning is recommended. Its miniaturization is achieved through high-Q, temperature-compensated helical resonators with discrete-component interconnections. Constructed from extruded aluminum with Teflon-insulated connectors, the filter is coated with black vinyl to ensure durability and corrosion resistance.
